Why hire a DJ?
Most people hire a DJ as an alternative to live music and to save money.
Live entertainment is great, but it comes at a cost. A DJ usually has 1-2 people, bands have 4-6 members. It doesn’t take much to figure out which group requires a larger investment.
If the band is good, and they can cover a number of different music genres, then you’re ok. But if the band is marginal, and can only cover one type of music, and do not take requests…..your guests may be leaving earlier than you planned.
